Standard sofas are not usually difficult to move around. Most kinds of sofas can be moved by two or three people, depending on style, material and size. Some may be heavier, but most are not incredibly difficult to move around.

For a smaller space, a couple of loveseats can work as well as a standard sofa. With two matching loveseats, you can seat up to four people and have a more intimate and close atmosphere. Many loveseats match their accompanying sofas, but do not necessarily need to. A loveseat that contrasts from your primary seating can be an interesting dynamic and can add layers to your room.
